Winger | Better Days are Coming

 

Review: This band is sooo freakin talented.. Seriously... back in the day when they came out, I really only cared how cool the video was or how cute Kip was looking at the time, and not really getting the talent they each posses. Now as I'm older and 'getting' it.. I cant get enough of these guys, well and of coarse they have matured musically and have grown as a band.. Each album gets 'deeper'. This new release has a mix of all things Winger.. the full choruses , catchy hooks, token ballads.. etc. Also reminds me alot of Kips solo album 'This Conversation is a Dream' which can get pretty mellow at times... But it also has GREAT Rockers like "Rat Race" and "Queen Babilon " ... 

 

I got to see these guys right after this cd came out and they did a few new songs.. and they fit right in during the set, most the time bands play new songs and it means beer, or bathroom break... not these tunes.. they got your attention and you had to just hold on!

 

All in all I LOVE this release, and fan or not.. give it a listen..
