Trixter | New Audio Machine

Hmm.. First off, this is my first time reviewing a cd in over 7 years, SO with that in mind.. I was always a huge Trixter fan. Loved the look, the songs, and just the whole FUN package.. They were basically a boy band.. But with long hair…

With that being said.. The guys have grown up… I wasn’t sure what I thought of the first track "Drag Me Down" but it picked up and got back to the sound Im used to.. Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t expect them to sound the same, just was hoping they were not going slow and sappy… Pete has a solo cd out called Be of This Time.. And its one of my favorite albums EVER. Steve and Pj also wet on to release some great stuff with Steve singing (40 ft. Ringo) more on the punk/rock side… SO you can tell getting back together they have now mixed the writing skills..

Petes voice has defiantly become more on the raspy side, which comes with age.. PJ still has those great Think bass lines… Especially in "Machine" Mark Scott… still pounds away on the skins… and Steve.. Well Steve just rcks.. All styles.. Acoustics, fast, slow, crunchy… Van Halen-ish.. Its all amazing..

So all in all these guys still got it… it's great catchy rock n roll… Good Job!
